Roberts v. Atrium Health Pixel Tracking

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Hospital Authority (Atrium Health)

Atrium Health allegedly used pixel tracking technology (including Meta and Google pixels) on its website and, for a limited period (Jan 1, 2015 - Jul 31, 2019), within its MyAtriumHealth/MyCarolinas patient portal, disclosing patients' personal and health-related information to third parties without proper consent. A $1.8 million settlement resolves the claims.
