LifeStance Health Pixel Privacy Settlement
LifeStance Health Group, Inc.
LifeStance Health Group allegedly used third-party tracking technologies (pixels) on its public website that collected and disclosed patients' personally identifiable information to third parties, including Meta and Google, without permission. Under the settlement, LifeStance also agreed to discontinue non-HIPAA-compliant tracking pixels for 5 years. A $3,027,874.44 settlement fund (split into a $1,203,405 Subclass 1 fund and a $1,824,469.44 Subclass 2 fund) compensates eligible patients who file a valid claim.
Who may qualify
You are included if you were a LifeStance patient between March 1, 2020 and April 30, 2023. Subclass 1 = booked at least one session through LifeStance's online booking tool on lifestance.com in that period. Subclass 2 = any other LifeStance patient in that period who did not book via the online tool. Each subclass shares pro rata in its own separate settlement fund.
