This settlement resolves claims that the U.S. government failed to distribute funds from Individual Indian Money (IIM) accounts to account holders. Heirs of deceased IIM account holders whose settlement awards were never paid may be eligible for a money award.

You qualify if you are an heir of one or more of the 17,000+ Individual Indian Money account holders whose Cobell settlement awards were not distributed. Proof of heirship required.
